I had a great weekend in Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois and got to see a lot of the awesome places in the National Forest.
This is the part of the Ohio River Scenic Byway from Mount Vernon, IN to Cave-in-Rock, IL that I took to start the trip. It was a nice drive and a real beautiful morning to see the land go from flat farmland to hills and then cliffs on the Ohio River.
Expect a video this week on the hiking spots and unique places in southern Illinois that you can stop at too.
