This video was taken of the February 17, 2021 meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Oakley Union Elementary School District, located in Oakley, California. Lisa Brizendine and other members were caught on video making disparaging comments about parents during an online meeting they thought was private, dismissing them as potheads who ‘want their babysitters back’. Brizendine has since been removed from the district's website. Parents want the entire board to step down or be recalled. The Superintendent issued an apology yesterday; although he was on the call and never said a word to correct their comments, so does he agree?
