Welcome aboard! Pirates get to skip the vegetables at dinner. They get to play and sing and laugh and throw things and play soccer and never have to go to bed until they want to! It sounds like paradise, but as it turns out, life aboard a pirate ship turns out not to be as much fun as it sounds. There's no one to tuck you in at night and when the ship rocks in a storm, there's no one to hold you and tell you it will be alright. So instead of staying with the pirates, Jeremy shows them where to bury their treasure ( in his back yard) and returns home to live happily ever after. This was a fun story to put together. I've included a special drawing time at the end of the show to help your children get started drawing their own sharks and pirates.
