Bedein has his a master's degree in the field of social work and is a community organizer by profession, writer, and investigative journalist. In 1987, Bedein established the Israel Resource News Agency with offices at the Beit Agron Int’l Press Center in Jerusalem. He serves as Director of The Center for Near East Policy Research.
