cross the country, Philip B. Haney's professional colleagues as well as friends, both in his public and private life, and throughout 2020 and now 2021, ask me the same questions: What have you heard? Why was he killed? Who killed him?

It was a Friday, February 21, 2020. A deputy sheriff from Amador County Sheriff's Office phoned me to say Philip was found with a single gunshot wound to his chest and on the side of the road.

As of yesterday, one year later, on 02.17.2021, an individual at the Amador County Sheriff's Office, ACSO, who once stated to me that he was the lead investigator on Philip's case texted the following: "My office has not determined the manner or cause in Mr. Haney's death therefore this is still an open investigation. There is no new information to release at this time." - One year later there is no new information?!

And if you reach out, as I have to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, they refuse to respond entirely. In a call I made this week I was promptly cut-off after asking for any information that may be available on Philip's death.

Last year in July 2020, the ACSO put out a press release that stated in part: "we reached out to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to assist in analyzing documents, phone records, numerous thumb drives and a lap top that were recovered from the scene and Mr. Haney’s RV. Those items and numerous other pieces of evidence, were turned over to the FBI. The FBI has performed a forensic examination of these items. We expect to receive these reports within the next few weeks." The reports, I am told by the lead investigator have never reached ACSO.

But if this is not enough to lead one to despair, consider: The ACSO gave to the FBI all of Philip's documents, the thumb drives, the lap top, etc., which would have had information pointing to individuals who worked in the Obama/Biden administration and who betrayed the security of every American and the national security interests of the United States.

We know this, at least in part, due to the Department of Justice Inspector General's latest report from last March. IG Michael Horowitz's found that the FBI failed to follow-up on at least six (6) terrorists. Those cases involved the 2009 Fort Hood massacre; the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing; the 2016 Pulse Nightclub attack in Florida; and, the 2015 San Bernardino, California Islamic terrorist attack by a husband and wife team with a newborn. As a result, 70 Americans were killed. Philip knew the FBI mishandled the evidence - information he had uncovered.

But the FBI's failure should not be surprise to anyone. Recall that when Robert Mueller was the FBI director who removed hundreds of counterterrorism documents. Why? It is all about political correctness - what the government does and does not want you to say on specific issues. Its all about Democrats and 21st century wokism or being woke!

As a charter member of the Department of Homeland Security, DHS, Philip went to work in March of 2003. With an advanced degree he was sent to work in the Middle East where he learned the culture, the language and the severity and brutality of Shariah law as people were mercilessly killed for failing to follow the tenets of the Koran. After 9/11, the United States government ask Philip to go to work for the newly created DHS whose purpose is to provide among other things counterterrorism efforts in the case of unending threats to the homeland.

As of today, the Undersheriff at ACSD, Gary Redman told a newspaperman that the ACSD are still waiting for a few remaining pieces of forensic analysis out of the FBI in Virginia. Really?

In the eyes of those who knew Philip, he was a national treasure, but also a wonderful, supportive personal friend. He served the United States with distinction. As a COUNTER TERRORISM EXPERT he had tremendous courage, integrity, honesty, and great faith. A man who pursued Islamic terrorists out of great love for his country. He knew the first names of terrorists, their communications, right down to the shoes they wore - people trying to bring down the United States from outside our borders as well as inside our nation's borders....and with a great love of country and constitution. He is known for his tremendous integrity, humility, keen intelligence, his great faith, and his extensive expertise and uncanny ability to search for and uncover Islamic terrorists, their networks and their organizations inside and outside the nation's borders.

And he did it even as the Bush administration and then the Obama/Biden administration INCREASINGLY made it clear to not put the two words together Islam and terrorism.

One has to wonder how far Philip's professional life influenced U.S. policy and the thinking of today's policy makers as an expert in intelligence matters related to threats from Islamic terrorism.

Recall President Trump's Executive Order on temporarily suspending entry of nationals from certain specified countries in order for the U.S. government to carry out a worldwide review on if additional information was needed before allowing people to walk into the United States and not be threat to the American people.

The Department of Homeland Security's vital mission is to secure the nation from the threats we face. This requires the dedication of more than 240,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cybersecurity analyst to chemical facility inspector.
