Idaho House Bill 123 - Supplemental Funding for the Commission on Aging - 2021

Idaho Representative Brooke Green speaks about her bill (HB 123) asking for supplemental money for the commission on aging. Mainly to be used for meals for seniors in need.
Idaho Representative Vito Barbieri spoke saying that this request for supplement money could be placed in next years budget.
Idaho Representative Heather Scott spoke saying that asking for supplemental money makes it hard for the citizens to see where the money is coming from and where it is going to.
My question is - Why do we have a commission on aging? Isn't that covered by other state agencies?
