Kona Brewing Co Gold Cliff IPA *w/ Pineapple

Kona Brewing out of Hawaii give us todays selection. This IPA is brewed with pineapple as the special ingredient. On the nose she is light with fruity, citrusy but not overly bitter aromas. Initial hit is bitter with hints of citrus and pineapple but mainly just the bitterness of the hops. Medium fast thru the middle. Flavors are centered mostly on the sides of the tongue without hitting the soft palate. Dirty and oily on the back end. Not bad but not great either.
The Muffin Top is billed as another craft glass and is indeed nucleated. She would make a bitchin cocktail glass btw.
She runs 7.5 ABV, 50 IBUs and the SRM is By My Eye 12.
