The Temple of Hathor is about 1.5 hours drive north of Luxor. Unlike many of the antiquities one visits in amazing country, there are places inside the Temple where the original colours have not been sun bleached as with most of the surviving structures from the period. You'll see the colours- in limited places- as the ancient Egyptians wanted them to be seen.
