Introduction: “Kings and Priests of the Most High God”

If relating to your Christian faith seems kinda vague and at times daunting because you simply do not know where to start, you are not alone. Perhaps, you are a new believer. Or perhaps, you have been a believer for many years, but not really committed to the calling of God. Or perhaps, you are a believer only by tradition and not really in heart. Maybe you believe in God, but “you” can not identify any tangible
evidence in your life that He is with you. And you certainly do not sense a hint of the presences of God in you.

Yet, despite all these uncertainties you still believe He is real. Which is why I say, that at times your Christian faith might seem vague and at times daunting to keep holding on to it.

In times like these, I am reminded of what Jesus said, to Thomas, when Thomas found himself not believing Jesus had resurrected from the dead, unless he saw him. In John 20:29 - Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

If you find yourself watching this video now, this is a “Ki-ros” moment in time for you. This is an opportune time for you. I believe that this short video will change the way you see yourself and begin the process of understanding how God sees you.

The word “ki-ros” is a Greek words that identifies a particular moment in “time”. The apostle Paul used it in [Romans 13:11 ESV] “Besides this you know the "time", that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

The word TIME in this scripture is Ki-ros (G2540); by definition it simply means a “specific” moment in time or an “opportune” time. I believe this is an “opportune” time for you to start at the beginning of knowing your true identity in Jesus Christ.

Perhaps, you have asked yourself many times “What is my purpose in life?” I have the answer, your purpose first and foremost is to be Kings and Priests of the Most High God. But in order to operate and function as a King and Priest you must mature into that office.

However, when you are born-again, you become a son and daughter of God by the Spirit of Holiness. It is the gift which Jesus Christ obtained for you through his cross and his resurrection from the dead. When you are born-again of the Spirit, you are royalty; sons and daughters of God. But you must mature and grow into the likeness of Jesus Christ
in order to rule as Kings and Priests.

When we hear the word “Kings” we imagine royalty and power and we all want to definitely rule over territories and kingdoms, and rightly so, for that is what Kings do. But when we hear the word “Priests”, we hardly know what to do, and worse yet what it means to be one. What is the function of a Priest? And most importantly, why has God called us to be Kings and Priests?

Join me in a series of short lessons in what I’ve titled:
“Kings and Priests of the Most High God”.

[Psalm 139:13-14 ESV] For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

[Ephesians 4:8 ESV] Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” (men, women; G444:anthropos)

[Romans 11:29 ESV] For the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.
