Police Unions in New York Must Submit Records for Public Transparency

The New York Police Department tried to argue that if their records were released to the public then this would give law enforcement officers less employment opportunities and create higher risks and danger for officers.

Ultimately, the Federal Court ruled against the Police Unions saying that police officers' records must be provided upon request.
