JOY. This is not happiness. Happiness is superficial and fleeting. Happiness comes and goes as often as our highs and lows in life. But joy is deeper. Joy is rooted in realities far greater than past, present, or future circumstances. The fact that we're created to experience joy points to experience of joy being found in the Joy-Giver. Christmas is about this reality. God came to earth so that we can rediscover everlasting joy! Can God be a joy-filled God? Is joy something you have lost sight of or haven't experienced in awhile? Is this a season that you're struggling to find this joy? Perhaps, you have never had permanent joy in your life and long for it? Where can this joy be found and how do we tap into it?
