Part 4 – The Fall of Babylon, God’s Judgment and The Holy Jerusalem

This Part begins with God’s Wrath upon Babylon and the fall of the great city. God summons his people to flee Babylon then sends destruction upon it. There is singing and rejoicing in heaven with the defeat of Babylon. Next it describes the destruction of the unbelievers. God’s army takes the beast, and takes the false prophet and takes those who have accepted the mark of the beast and casts them into the lake of fire. Satan is cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. He is shut up with a seal set upon him. Those who had been killed in the name of Christ and not accepted the mark of the beast remaining pure in the sight of God were judged and reined with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years are finished. It then speaks to the first resurrection and the second death. Then there is review of the last judgment. And the ascension of the new Jerusalem where God will dwell with his people for ever and ever. And it ends with a warning to those who communicate the message. That the prophecy is not to be changed by adding anything or removing anything or face God’s Wrath…
