I Guess The Most Important Aspect Of This That Should Be Mentioned Is Knowing What You Are Doing, Knowing What You Are Working With. You Can Absolutely Destroy A Valuable Watch's Value By Cleaning, Polishing, Modifying It. On The Other Hand If You Become Good At What You Do, You Can Add Value To A Watch As Well. Depends On The Watch And Other Variables.
Also I Highly Recommend Practicing On A Throw Away Piece. This Is Not As Easy As It Looks. There Is Nothing More Frustrating Than Seeing A Otherwise Nice Watch Completely Destroyed By Someone Who Should Not Have Done Work To It.
