Mario voice actor Charles Martinet hasn’t been contacted about starring in the ‘Super Mario’ film

It was announced last year that Illumination Entertainment and Nintendo were partnering up to make an animated ‘Super Mario’ movie which is set to be released in 2022, although not much else about the film has been announced.
