Deceptive footage created by Apollo 11 Crew

Excerpt from Bart Sibrel's film "A funny thing happened on the way to the moon".

This deceptive footage was not meant to be uncovered. Buzz Aldrin's response to seeing this was, " You should talk to the administrators, we were just passengers on a flight"
If they reached a distance of 234000 miles from earth, then why would the busy Apollo 11 crew need to be so deceptive? Is it because the full view outside the window would show them to only be in low earth orbit?
