Politics - America is not the Greatest Country anymore?

This video clip went viral early in Obama's second term. Despite political divides and protests of injustice through my generation, I don't ever remember having to defend the concept that America was not "the Greatest Country". After winning two World Wars in the last Century, America's elected leader was honored with the title "Leader of the Free World". What changed in the last decade?
