We are cruising along in the Book of Judges in our series, Sin-Filled Nation. If there is one thing we can say about this book is that it gets more twisted the further we get into it!
There are some people of the Bible that we all love and consider heroes of the faith: Joseph, David, and Daniel to name a few. And then there are the ones that have us scratching our heads wondering what God was thinking choosing them! Samson would certainly fit into this category. A womanizing, egotistical, narcissistic, arrogant, hot head is not who we want to picture God choosing as the leader of His people. Why did God chose Samson? What can we learn from him?
