Tony Katz Today: The Minimum Wage Works Against The Worker

The Fight for 15 is upon us. A minimum wage works against workers. It prevents the worker from negotiating in their own best interest. They cannot even negotiate to get a job where they may get paid below “the minimum” but they can learn the skills to get better jobs down the road. The worker is not able to invest in themselves.
