Kingdom of Laos National Anthem (1947-1975; Instrumental) Pheng Xat Lao

Pheng Xat Lāo (Lao: ເພງຊາດລາວ, literally "Hymn of the Lao People") was adopted as the national anthem of the Kingdom of Laos. Dr. Thongdy Sounthonevichit composed the music and wrote the lyrics.
Last king, Savang Vatthana, surrendered the throne to the Pathet Lao in 1975, who abolished the monarchy in favor of a Marxist–Leninist state called the Lao People's Democratic Republic, which has controlled Laos ever since.
The Communist government decided to change the lyrics to the anthem in order to reflect the ideology of the new regime.
