The Kingdom of Old Babylon 1924 - 1595BC was a time in Mesopotamia when trade began to be more understood and we see the beginning of the larger scale trade wars between kingdoms vying for power and control over trade. We also see the earliest known codified law under the Babylonian king Hammurabi.
