500+hp 351W Stroker Build

In this video, we are going to build a 500+hp 351W stroker for our 68 mustang.

We start with the assembly of a bare block fresh from the machine shop.
We will discuss and show;
- The proper prep for the block to ensure there is no debris
- The use of assembly lube
- Sequence for tightening main cap bolts
- Stages of bolt torquing
- how to measure and gap piston rings
- Discuss the optimum placement of the piston ring gaps around the piston
- How to compress the rings while installing the pistons
- Installing head gaskets
- Installing ARP head studs
- Installing intake manifold
- Installing a water pump
