Fishing for White Bass and Walleye at Caballo Lake in NM- Spoonplugging

Today I was teaching a new fisherman about the basics of Spoonplugging to locate and catch fish in a Flat Lake Reservoir. We started by running the first 3 spoonplugs on structure to locate the school of fish, then we through out a marker and casted to the school to load the boat.
Caballo Lake is an excellent fishery in Southern New Mexico. The lake has Black Bass, White Bass, Channel Catfish, Blue Catfish, Drum and Walleye.
