Did we just find gold on the Maine coast?

Episode 7 - Joe and I try our luck at a local summer beach hot spot before a snow storm was approaching. I know that what we found was not gold after I had recorded the video. I assumed that brass may turn in color when emerged in salt water but what a rush it was.

We cannot wait until spring to get out there and get to some promising permissions.
We currently use Minelab Equinox 800's with the 15, 11 and 6 inch coils, Garrett "carrot", snakeskinz and lesche shovels.
