Snow Peak Fire Pit and Grill

Today, I went to have lunch with my buddy Keith and we were going to cook burgers over my new Snow Peak Fire Pit and Grill. The actual model name of this Snow Peak Takibi Fire Pit and Grill. I originally had a Solo Stove Bonfire for a portable fire pit but I found it did not produce enough radiant heat even though it was essentially smokeless. For winter truck camping and overlanding, I determined staying warm was more important than having a smokeless fire. The other advantage to this fire pit is the fact it has a smaller footprint with regards to storage. All the components fold down flat and fit into the included canvas carry/storage bag. Another advantage is the ability to really stack the wood high due to the strength of the stainless steel. The con to this setup is the price. It sells for $319 on Amazon. I will mention however the Solo Stove Bonfire is $349 so this one is actually cheaper, just not in everyone's budget range.

Thanks to Trailmedic for helping me make this video as well as suggesting the pineapples on the burgers we made. Make sure to go check out his channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/TrailMedic911
