Hot Tent Wood Stove Camping in the Hoosier National Forest

Decided to give my Hot Tent another try. I picked a cold weekend on purpose as the forecast was a low of 10 degrees. The location I chose was Sundance Lake in the Hoosier National Forest, which is a gorgeous lake with a campsite right on the lakeshore. So I set up my Onetigris Smokey Hut tent and Winnerwell Fastfold Titanium Stove and was enthusiastic about seeing how cold or how warm I stayed. In the middle of the night, my Nemo Tensor Airpad lost air and I ended up sleeping on the grounds. Luckily, I had my Nemo Cosmo 3D pad in the truck and was able to switch them out and add another sleeping bag. The bad part was, I also broke my glasses in the process. I would say this was a successful test, even though things didn't go as planned. They rarely do on a trip in the winter though.
