When you think of a healthy diet, you might imagine a diet filled with fresh fruits. This might be a winner for us, but it isn't the same for our dogs.
So can dogs eat fruit? Well, the fruit isn't completely off the list - full of vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber, they can be a great snack choice for our four-legged friends. But it is also high in sugar, and moderation is key to long-term weight control. Plus, some fruits can upset your dog's digestive system - or worse - so it's important to know your stuff before storing a bowl of fruit.
