Three Lies Christians Believe

1. The Bible is not current with the times we live in, times change?

Pre-flood abortion, beach, we pass laws passed to make things legal?

These people believe the Bible is like a smorgasbord you can pick and choose what you like and disregard what you don’t like?

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The Bible explains the past, present and foretells the future, perfectly.

2. You add to or maintain your salvation?

Sin and you lose your salvation, obey and God will love you more.

There are plain ordinary Christians and there are super spiritual Christians.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

3. Good people go to Heaven and bad people go to Hell.

There is no one who is good, everyone sins everyday?

Psa 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psa 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
Psa 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.

Born Again people go to Heaven, all others go to Hell.
