Saving our country through story-telling | Kevin Sorbo

Actor Kevin Sorbo (God’s Not Dead) talks about Faith, Family and Filmmaking. American News Personality Mindy Thomas shines the spotlight his political opinions and perspective about our world and nation. Sorbo also reflects on the movie he and Mindy were in together and his thoughts about her husband.

Being a faith-based filmmaker allows Kevin Sorbo the opportunity to tell stories and get people to think through particular issues through story-telling. He's used filmmaking to get people to think about the existence of God, the pro-life issues and other Christian and Conservative themes. Often times, those of us on the right have a one-track mind to deal with the cold-hard facts. But we also need to use art, such as film or music, to help shape culture.

Kevin also shared his view on the current state of the country, discussing just how great of a President Donald Trump has been, especially when it comes to being pro-life, which is such an important issue. We must continue pushing forward with the Culture War, no matter who the POTUS is. However, we are going to have to expand the Conservative and Christian influence beyond just talking about issues, but begin to use story-telling as a much larger aspect of our messaging. We can do that. We should do that. We also need to support story-tellers like Kevin Sorbo who continue to create the right kind of films.
