WHEN A BLUE STAR TURNS GOLD Invocation for Gold Star Families with Ann M. Wolf

No-one with family who serves wants their BLUE STAR STATUS to turn SILVER or GOLD; a Blue Star Family has immediate members who have served, a Silver Star Family has immediate members who have been injured, (whether these wounds are visible or not) & a Gold Star Family has lost a member in battle (KIA).

ABOUT: To further clarify these differences, in this video, Blue Star, Silver Star & Gold Star Families are defined while their banners & special pins are explained, especially regarding the items have been articulated by CONGRESS. Then, walk with one special Gold Star Couple, Bill & Bernie Koprince, as we remember the day that a section of Highway was named after their fallen son, Lcpl. William Koprince. Jr. ( KIA Dec. 27, 2006. Angelversary)

INVOCATION: Ann M. Wolf narrates the invocation she gave for this auspicious occasion (on Sept. of 2014 in Knoxville, TN.) Since that time, she has taken the prayer into the recording studio and teamed up with her producer Tracy Collins, who has contributed his original lyrical and heart-stirring music to create the soundtrack for, "When a Blue Star Turns Gold."

IMAGES: Thanks to all who contributed images to this Video as mentioned in the credits of this film; special thanks to Veteran Garry Freese for approximately 30 slides which are used in this presentation.

DISCLOSURE: There are many organizations such as Gold Star Families of America which recognize and celebrate our Gold Star Families; and these groups often have their unique way of defining Gold Star Members as well as having some of their own banners, uniforms, or pins. This video is in recognition of Gold Stars whether they are members of an organization or not, as defined by Congress.
