Strange spring storm. Mother Natures mood swings?

I filmed this in May 2020. The strange clouds caught my eyes, so I filmed them, then the hail hit. And it hit HARD, and lasted a long time. That night I was woke up by the flashing strobe like lights hitting the windows. I filmed the lightning because I have never seen lightning without the roll of thunder. It was silent! Which is very odd because we are in a canyon, and boy the thunder rolls through there, shakes the windows. But this? This is quiet.
Many of my videos are from the past year. We work a remote off grid job that we live at. A Ranger Station if you will. So with no cell signals, electricity, and for that matter no running water (Unless we run with the bucket from the stream that is).
Most of my uploading's are done in the winter when we are down in the low lands for the season.
