Finishing up some winter projects: Plastic going back on the mini-greenhouse for spring starts; making new snap pea trellis area. There is a misconception for new gardeners seeing new pictures on Pinterest or in magazines that gardening is a ton of work because it has to look manicured. Nothing could be further from the truth! Gardening is about re-establishing your connection with your nutrition and fostering an ecosystem around it. Not everything has to be aesthetically pleasing. The important point is to JUST START.

We go over the last of the over-wintered radish, carrot, and beet that I'm pulling out of the ground in prep for spring beds and local resources for new growers.
