Let me teach you how to cook a PERFECT steak every time 😍

Note : this works best for really thick cuts of ribeye, strip steaks, filets, ect.

1. Dry brine in fridge uncovered overnight! (Optional but I always like to do this if I have time.)
2. Let it come to room temp at least 1 hr before cooking.
3. Cook it low & slow in oven or smoker at 250°-275° until the internal temp reaches 125° (medium rare) or 128° (medium). Flip halfway.
4. Remove from oven and sear in a scorching hot pan with mixture of butter and high heat oil. First fat cap then each side for 1 min. (You can baste it here but I don’t really feel like you need to 😬).
5. Remove from pan and let rest 10 minutes.
6. Slice against the grain and serve. 👍🏻

I know y’all are gonna ask where I got my thermometer from and I really don’t know I have had it awhile but just google “oven safe meat thermometer” and you will find one :)
