Analysis of Donald Trump’s Impeachment Trial: Trump’s Defense

Today was the fourth day of Donald Trump’s impeachment trial. Trump’s lawyers kept their arguments short and sweet; only using 3 hours of their time.

Trump’s defense lawyers said that Trump’s speech at the “Stop the Steal” rally was protected free speech. Trump’s lawyers made their case that by convicting Trump would essentially be “cancelling” Trump’s supporters and their political views just for not agreeing with the majority.
