Team, in this week's update, the Installation Commander, Brig. Gen. Scott Cain, 96th Test Wing, talks about the highest level of virus transmission we've seen so far in the community and the stress on our healthcare system. Cain said we'll use all the tools to keep Eglin a place #COVID19 doesn't spread. We've elevated our health protection condition, reduced gathering size and will continue with the health protection measures we know work against the virus. He also talks about our medics and first responders' vaccinations and the move to vaccinate our critical and essential personnel. He adds that we'll accelerate that program to give as many people as we can the opportunity to get the vaccine. Cain expressed the need to stay connected through the challenges and focus on resilience. Chief Master Sgt. Alvin Dyer also talked about resilience, our Helping Agencies' use, and encouraged leaders to continue to think about resilience. Cain closed by urging everyone to take care of themselves and their teams, the mission, and the community. #ReadyAF Stay safe. Stay connected.
