It amazes me when I talk to a lot of supposed security professionals and they are oblivious of the threat of organized crime… I put this mostly down to them living very shelters lives and just being very naïve as organized crime in one way or another is very mainstream…

For the serious security professionals the issues of organized crime can in the form of threats against the clients or the criminals trying to hire your services… Over the years I have seen quite a few people knowingly get involved with criminal groups maybe for the quick cash, the glamour, an ego thing or they wanted the adrenaline, that was their choice and I don’t judge.
