Update: Since I didn’t have my 2 large suitcases with me when I checked in, I really hadn’t noticed that the surrounding road was made of bricks. – I needed a taxi.

Only two blocks, but still.

5 liras. I paid 10 and told him to keep the change.

I was expecting a hassle and ultimately didn’t really care that he was prepared to be honest.

(The hostel-keeper arranged the fare. At that point, I was no longer capable of dealing with cabbies.)

I don't remember if I've already mentioned this in a previous video, but whatever... It's good to have all of this information in one place:

First trip (keeping in mind that your fatigue will increase as you go) -- roll-away suitcase, paperwork bag and large tote bag

Second trip -- two smaller tote bags and laptop
