2021 SONA Preparation

South Africa - Cape Town - 11 February 2021 - Heavy police presence around the Parliament of South Africa and Cape Town CBD ahead of the State of the Nation Address 2021 by President Cyril Ramaphosa tonight.There are rumours of protest taking place just before the address,some police are on foot and others on horses,there are also Inyala and and Water Cannons around.This year's address will be different as it will be a Hybrid SONA because of the Covid-19,only 50 people will be allowed in the National Assembly.The third biggest party that has caused chaos during the SONA in the previous years EFF will not be attending .Picture: Phando Jikelo/African News Agency(ANA)
