U.S. Marines with Combat Assault Company, 3d Marine Regiment, and the Environmental Protection and Compliance Division, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, participate in a yearly joint exercise commonly referred to as ‘Mud Ops’ in the Nu’Upia Ponds Wildlife Management Area, MCBH, Feb. 9, 2021. The relationship between Combat Assault Company, 3d Marine Regiment, and the MCBH EPCD is essential for not only the training of junior marines, but the continued prosperity of the islands water birds.
