Oscar Brand - Bawdy Western Songs, Vol. 6 (1957) [Complete LP]

One Of Our Deleted Albums Series

Folk singer Oscar Brand (1920-2016) released a series of Bawdy Songs albums in the 1940's and 1950's. Bawdy Western Songs Vol.6 was originally released in 1957 on the Audio Fidelity label, catalogue number AFSD-15920. The Vol.6 on the LP cover indicates that Bawdy Western Songs was the 5th in the Bawdy Songs series, not the 5th volume of a Bawdy Western Songs series.

The entire Bawdy Songs series has been unavailable for decades except as second hand LPs, which is how I came across this copy.

The audio here was taken from a 1950's US pressing of the original vinyl LP.
