New Ex-JW - Anonymous - Storytelling
Dear Jehovah's Witnesses,
When someone tells you they're great, the smartest, the best at what they do, we are naturally skeptical. You have the ability to get to know that person to find out if their claims are true. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, you are told not to do that research. Do not talk to people who left, especially about why they did (bc it usually makes sense), do not look at competitors, do not listen to any negative talk. Stop. And. Think. This is called isolation, which is a main part of brainwashing.
Backlit for safety and anonymity, I share my own story of waking up to the lies of the Organization, or Society as it used to be known. I wish to be part of your journey of discovery, truth seeking, and finding yourself. Drop a comment below, please share on all forums and Ex-JW sites.
