VIR MADS Driving School Track Day RX-7 Passing Viper GTS, Apexi RX6 Open Wastegate

Circa 2002 before VIR made so many upgrades. Was mainly just happy to keep up on the front straight start/finish where I assume we were both just flooring it at roughly 140mph. Lost a little time pausing to get the approved pass.

Daily driver Apexi RX6 single turbo 93 RX-7 R1 @ 13psi at a MADS (Mazda driving school) event at VIR. Stock suspension and street tires, thankfully driven back home at the end of the day. Passes during these driving schools required the lead car to signal before you pass in the approved zones.
