Super Easy Hydroponic Basil Kratky Method

Basil is one of the easiest plants you can try simple, passive hydroponics with. Cuttings root in about a week. It can be grown in a sunny window or lower lighting, my greens table uses 150 W led Ecru led panel which nicely covers a 2 X 2 foot area.

Supplies are simple, a party cup, quart jar, nutrients. Keep clipping and using / drying to keep growth continuous. When the plant seems like its had enough, take cuttings and go again.

Watch nutrient levels, basil can be thirsty. Top off with fresh water in-between nutes and remember to leave an air space between pot and roots once established.
