Hey there- hi there- hello there- William Cato here for the sonsign channel on rumble.

Today we're going to be going over 4 essential bible study tools every Christian needs to have in their library. The reason I'm recording this short video is the subject of "What kind of bible study tools do I need to clarify this verse, or the meaning of this word?" at least five times on social media. Instead of exhausting myself answering the same question, I would rather just share a link to this video. I want to show you what you need in your library to answer all of your bible study needs.

Let's jump right into the 4 must have bible study tools...

1. Get a good study Bible: Having a good study bible is a must have. Not only will a good study bible replace countless volumes of commentaries from your library shelves (saving space) you can also do your daily bible reading, and most good study bibles have a a reference system so you can cross reference every verse of scripture. One thing to note; I suggest choosing your study bible according to your denomination and or belief's. For instance, if you're like me and your Pentecostal maybe the fire Bible would be a good match for you. What if your a Baptist? Well you could get yourself the new disciple study bible or the John MacArthur study bible. Regardless you need to have a good study bible.

2. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the bible with Lexicon: Strong's work has been around for a long long time, and it is one the authoritative concordances today. Not only can you look up your bible verse that you are studying but you can look up every major word in that verse, chapter or book. There are numbers that each word has associated in the Hebrew or Greek lexicon that you look up and find the meaning behind the word. It also gives you the Hebrew or Greek name where that word originates. The Strong's concordance works with most versions of the bible such as ESV, NASB, NRSV, the CSB Bible to find the original root meaning and more.

3. Bible dictionary: You really need a good Bible dictionary. In the video I show you my Vines complete bible dictionary. Here you can look up any archaic word if you are using the KJV, any word, name, tree, coin, etc. Most know how to use a common dictionary, this is no different. All words will be in alphabetical order. The vines has black and white drawings for some of the words listed.
As I stated before a good bible dictionary is a must have tool. Once more thing, if you use a KJV bible your best dictionary while a little costly, would be the Websters 1828 Bible Dictionary.

4. Nave's Topical Bible: This tool is almost a must have but it is not mandatory but iti is great to have at your disposal for bible study. This is a digest of the Holy Scriptures, in cyclopedic form and under familiar headings all that the bible contains on particular subjects. If you wanted to conduct a study on the relation of Master and Servants in the bible, using the Nave's topical bible you would just go to "M's" and look up Master. My Nave's has a heading that actually say's on page 827, "Scriptures Relating to Masters and servants."
