Why The Cross is offensive

A discussion of why the gospel of the The Message of the Cross is offensive to some people particularly Christians. When faced with the idea that any act to produce righteousness outside to The Cross is fruitless and actually produces unrighteousness offends people. The act of righteousness was finished at Calvary. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but by me. God will accept NO other sacrifice, NO act other than the death burial and resurrection of His son Jesus. Because of this The Message of The Cross will offend. Anything else is filthy rags.
Our faith must stay exclusively in the finish work of what Jesus Christ did at The Cross. Christ alone is the answer to mankind's sin nature. The Message Of The Cross is the only answer to a dyeing world. Remember to keep your faith in Jesus Christ and nothing Else. Lest we fail every time.
