This is the start of our annual two-week trip with our ending destination being Utah. However, we had trouble with the Hummer H3 in Oklahoma. We had to leave it with the great guys at Checotah Auto Repair in Checotah, Oklahoma https://www.facebook.com/checotahautorepair/ .

After that, our plans had changed. Therefore, we decided to rent a car and stay a few days in the state while the H3 is repaired. We traveled on east to Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park near Hinton, Oklahoma. https://www.redrockcanyonadventurepark.com/ The next day we explored this amazing state park.

The following day we traveled further south to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. This place was breathtaking. https://www.fws.gov/refuge/Wichita_Mountains/

After that we drove to Medicine Park and had dinner at Riverside Café.
