Cattle Egret in Hawai'i

Cattle egrets are originally from Africa.They were deliberately introduced to Hawai'i from Florida in the hopes they would control flies harassing the cattle herds. Today, Cattle Egrets are considered a pest as they are nest predators to the Hawaiian Stilts and Hawaiian Coots.
