Each spring, members of the U.S. House of Representatives sponsors a countrywide high school Congressional Art Competition within their respected congressional districts. High school students are given the opportunity to showcase their talents and also to be recognized in their communities. The Art Institute of Los Angeles within California's 29th Congressional District hosted the annual event in the Spring of 2000. These are scenes of that afternoon.
