SIMPLE MAUL

The maul is a useful camp tool used to force the woodlands into submission and bend the forest to your will. When things aren't going your way, grab a maul and make Mother Nature see things your way!!

This how to video walks through the making of a traditional maul used around camp.

First in a series of WET AND COLD fire starting implements and tinders. This video walks through REAL TIME the length of time it takes to recover a wet Bic lighter and a Bic lighter that has been frozen in a chunk of ice.

The Bic lighter should be the first tool in line for fire starting when out in the woods. It is the quickest and easiest way in general to start a fire, thats why survivalist, bushcrafters, preppers and experts all tell people to carry one. The flame burns over 3500 degrees F and can be sustained for several minutes. The lighter itself can strike over 3000 times and is easy enough for even those with limited dexterity to use. They are super cheap, and are fairly durable.
