HOMEMADE FIRE STARTER

Making your own fire starter to kickstart a marginal tinder bundle or just to make sure you have sure fire is this weeks topic. Any loose "Fluffable" cotton product will work, and just about any wax will work. I have used paraffin and bees wax (beeswax for this video) in the past.Show more

The process is pretty simple, heat the wax in a container until its melted, dip the cotton into the melted wax, set the wax impregnated cotton aside til it cools and stuff it in your haversack until you need a fire!!
