The polar bear lives in the Arctic region, Alaska, Canada, Russia, Norway and Greenland, also known as the white bear or the northern bear, and the polar bear is considered an endangered animal, due to global warming and melting snow, where the remaining 22,000-25,000 are lost, and about 60% of them live in Canada. The polar bear has a superior ability to estimate depths and distances and has a strong sense of smell and can run at speeds of up to 55 km per hour. All these characteristics, in addition to the white color of the bear’s scalp, which give the ability to hide over snow, made the polar bear a skillful hunter. Polar bears are large meat eaters such as seals, as they have five long, curved claws that help them not slip and have fur cushions on the sole of the feet that help warm the feet.
